Why Choose a Professional DJ?

The disc jockey is the person with the most responsibility of bringing every facet of your event together from coordination of your service vendors to keeping the event going in the right direction at all times. This insures that you and all of your guests will have an evening that will be remembered for years to come.

Most professional disc jockeys have similar music libraries and equipment. What sets disc jockeys apart is their personality and ability to read a crowd. When planning your event, it is necessary to choose this personality and how much involvement you want the entertainer to have in front of your guests. It is important to then interview the disc jockey who will be your exclusive entertainment for your special occasion. Find out how and why they make the decisions to play particular songs and how they structure the formalities and announcements.

Proper Planning:

At TLC Music Service, we insist on planning the music and formalities at least a month prior to the wedding or event. This is important, because we (TLC Music Service) do not do the same routine at every wedding or have rehearsed material. If you know how you want things to happen at your wedding, this meeting would be the time to convey your instructions to TLC Music Service; your home or our office!
